What we buy
Jarvis Metals Recycling Inc. operates the largest non-ferrous scrap metal warehouse in West Texas. We purchase and sell many varieties of scrap metal.

Ferrous metals are any metals containing iron as their main component, such as steel, cast iron, and wrought iron. They are known for their strength, durability, and hardness, and most are magnetic. Because of their properties, they are commonly used in industries like construction, transportation, and manufacturing.

Non-Ferrous Metals are metals that contain no iron, distinguishing them from ferrous metals like steel. Common examples include aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, zinc, and lead, as well as precious metals like gold and silver.

Car Bodies can be sold with a valid title. Call us for more information - 806-744-7091

TIPS FOR SELLING SCRAP
The #1 complaint recycling companies get is that we incorrectly grade material or modify our weights to pay customers less! We do our best to be transparent and give our customers the resources they need to succeed, this includes some clear steps you can take to maximize your yield:
A bunch of different material in a container will be weighed as a mixed load, and will be worth less. Separate your material so each type can be weighed and we can pay the best price for each!
We base our pricing off the global metals market, which can be volatile and may change frequently.
Call ahead to get the current price so you can be confident in the value of your metal!
A “Dirty” material contains more than just the primary metal, such as aluminum sheets with steel screws, or copper tube with brass fittings. “Clean” metal with no contaminants is worth more, so strip your material for higher prices!
Texas requires recycling companies to pay for regulated materials by check unless the seller presents a Cash Transaction Card.
Apply for one with us so we can pay you cash!
ACCURACY AND TRANSPARENCY
Jarvis Metals follows all applicable local, state, and federal laws, as well as any recommended regulations pertaining to our industry. We go to great lengths to ensure the safety and security of our customers, employees, and our community!

SECURITY
Our extensive camera network ensures we have photos tied to each ticket and video of each transaction from start to finish, allowing us to comply with all laws and address any concerns.

SCALES
Our electronic scales are re-certified annually and tie directly into our point-of-sale system so you can be confident your material weights are fast and accurate!

RADIATION
To protect our customers and employees, a sophisticated proximity radiation detection system scans each scrap load as it enters our facility - we do not purchase or process any radioactive material!
For public safety, Jarvis Metals Recycling has a zero-tolerance policy for all types of scrap contaminated by radioactivity. Therefore, we will not accept any scrap that has been contaminated by radioactive elements. To ensure this policy is maintained, a sophisticated proximity radiation detection system scans each scrap load as it enters our facility for processing. In addition, scrap loads that contain medical equipment, measuring gauges from manufacturing facilities, or oil-drilling operations are subjected to additional scrutiny by use of a hand-held detector. Any load that reports a radiation level above normal background levels is rejected in whole from being accepted.
